Harry Potter's Butterbeer

Servings 6 cups



  • 12 fl oz cream soda 2 litre bottle
  • 3 tbsp butter extract
  • 2 tsp rum extract

Creamy topping

  • 1 cup whipping cream 36% fat
  • 7 oz marshmallow creme 200 gram; jar

Optional toppings

  • Butterscotch sauce, chocolate sauce


  1. Open the cream soda bottle. Pour both extracts into it and put the cup back on. SLOWLY rotate the bottle until the contents are combined.

  2. Beat the whipping cream on high speed using an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Add the marshmallow creme and continue whipping. Stop when a loose whipped cream forms.

  3. Pour the butterbeer into a glass and drizzle with the cream topping. Serve immediately.
